Metro Area boasts one of the most stable housing markets in the country. Washington D.C. alone is approximately 64 square miles contains residential housing with limited land to build. Washington D.C. is also a prime location for renovation of older buildings to make them more up to date. In the spring, Ascension Home Contractors took on the large task of renovating a 1920’s row house located in the Petworth Neighborhood. Our previous blog details the renovation (http://www.ascensionhomecontractors.com/dmvrehab/) of this house. We are happy to announce that the project is complete this 1920’s row house is now a home of the 21st Century. Ascension Home Contractor added a bathroom room to the 2nd floor and the main floor increasing the number of bathrooms to 3.5. The layout of the main floor allow for an open living, kitchen and dining room space. Jimmy Garcia and his crew increased the outdoor space of this city townhouse by building a deck with access to the home and parking pad. Theses are a few of the additions of this beautifully renovated D.C. row house. To see more pictures: https://www.redfin.com/DC/Washington/608-Emerson-St-NW-20011/home/10057819#overview
